One of the reasons that I started this blog is so that I could keep track of all of the funny things that my kids do. This Christmas, Tyler bought everyone presents with his own money. Somehow, Kellen wiggled his way into sharing in the gift giving with Tyler so he made a card for my husband. His card cracks me up. I love the bald head and the teeth on my husband. He's obviously so excited about the gift that he is being given.
My husband is a music fanatic. He listens to just about everything...as a result, all of our children like all sorts of music. He has been on an Irish American Celtic Punk Band kick for the past couple of weeks. The Dropkick Murphy's and Flogging Molly have been played in the car everywhere we go...and we go a lot. Nothing like a 7 year old singing along to Irish Punk music. I wasn't too worried though until I saw the inside of the card for my husband. This is a picture of my husband and Kellen playing Rock Band (something they love to do) as the drummer and guitar player of Flogging Molly.
Yesterday, Kellen wanted to be a video game tester, today an Irish Punk Rocker and tomorrow (thankfully) is still up in the air.

This is too cute. Gotta love when they express themselves in writing at this age. Then you get to keep it. I have several of these from the years. They make me smile. And someday, they'll make great blackmail. "Don't make me pull out the scrapbooks."
