In Case You Haven't Figured It Out

We are in New Orleans for an ABA Forum meeting. Tony was a Marshal for the parade we marched in last night. He looked like a pimp with is leopard hat and flower cane.
Waiting for the parade to begin.
Hanging with Kimberly and Harper.
The leader of the band. We marched through the streets of the French Quarter from our hotel to the House of Blues where the cocktail party was being held.

Posing with the leader of the band. Our friend, Connie, came in yesterday and was at the party with her husband.
The six of us went out for dinner at Emeril's Delmonico Restaurant. We were the last reservation for the evening and we were treated like royalty. This guy manages all of Emeril's restaurants in New Orleans and he taught Kimberly how to make bananas foster at the table.
The French Quarter Festival started today. We spent the day walking around listening to awesome music and trying various LA cuisine...alligator sausage, shrimp with grits, cajun roast beef, black eyed peas and green tomato salsa with chips and gumbo.

One of many musicians playing on the streets of the French Quarter.

We're off to dinner...not sure how much longer I can handle Burbon Street in the wee hours of the morning!
